When my husband bought a new car, he just didn't have the heart to sell his Jeep because he loved this car.  It sat in our garage for over a year.  When I heard about Grace Garage, I knew this was what we should do with the Jeep.  Even though it had a transmission problem, it was still a great car.  The interior and exterior were both perfect.  I called Ray and asked him if he was interested in it.  He was, and came to pick it up.  All we had to do was sign the title and give it to Ray.  He took care of all the paper work.  We were so pleased a woman with two young children got the Jeep.

To donate your vehicle:
 
Please call

Monday - Saturday
 
to arrange an inspection time for your vehicle and to determine the drop off
or pick up date and time.
 
Please
do not enter
any information
on the title until the
Grace Garage person is present! 
 
At drop off:
 
You must provide all keys
and a clear Florida title.
 
To be picked up:
 
You must previously arrange
for spare keys and the title
to be picked up by or delivered
to Grace Garage personnel.
 
After title and keys are taken care of: 
 
An initial donation receipt
and a copy of bill of sale
for your donation will be provided. 

The value attached to your donation must be carefully determined by following IRS guidelines.  The true market value is determined in three ways:

  1.   Salvaged vehicles:  Are valued at what Grace Garage is paid by the salvage yard.  We have built relationships with some salvage yards to obtain the maximum value of your donation.
  2.   Given to a person in need:  A thorough inspection of the vehicle is completed and repairs are made to make the vehicle safe.  The value is determined by Blue Book Value (Private Party) according to its condition, determined by Grace Garage, less any major repairs performed per IRS guidelines. {See IRS Guidelines}
  3.   Sold:  The actual price paid for the vehicle minus any major repairs performed per IRS guidelines. {See IRS Guidelines} Grace Garage has the reputation of providing safe, clean vehicles bringing good or fair Blue Book Values in most cases.  Some vehicles are a bit more difficult to sell, for example Gas Guzzlers.


Grace Garage is responsible for providing a 1098C form for your tax purposes within 30 days of your vehicle being salvaged, given away, or sold.
